The Concord Jazz Quartet brings Pittsburgh's storied Jazz tradition together with its world class Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra! Vibraphonist Andy Reamer and bassist Jeff Grubbs are long-time members of the PSO while guitarist Eric Susoeff and drummer Thomas Wendt are stalwarts of the Pittsburgh Jazz scene. Together, they bring new life to many of the classic compositions from both the Jazz and Great American Songbook repertoire. In addition, the group specializes in playing many pieces from the Third Stream Jazz tradition going back to the 1950s and groups like The Modern Jazz Quartet. The Concord Jazz Quartet will be celebrating the Modern Jazz Quartet at The Greer Cabaret Lounge on Tuesday, October 1.
